Alex’s practice is diversified, although his focus is personal injury and criminal defense. Alex aggressively litigates health care liability claims, toxic tort claims, commercial automobile accident claims, and maritime accident claims. Having represented clients in criminal and civil district courts throughout the state of Texas, Alex brings trial experience to the firm. He has obtained acquittals and dismissals for clients charged with DWI, intoxication offenses, family assault, drug possession, and murder.
Alex also practices business and transactional law and is engaged by a Houston based drilling fluids manufacturer to draft, negotiate and manage agency agreements with third party sellers abroad. Alex has experience drafting supply agreements, licensing agreements, and agency agreements that account for the laws of the United Arab Emirates, European Union Member States, as well as Russia, Brazil and Mexico.
Alex obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2006. He is admitted to practice law in the the State of Texas, the District of Columbia, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Southern District of Texas. Alex is a member of the Garland Walker Inn of Court, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, the Houston Bar Association, and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association. On his free time, Alex enjoys volunteering at his high school’s alumni association and cycling. Alex currently serves on the Awty International School's Alumni Association Board. From 2008-2010, Alex served as a member of the Awty International School’s Board of Trustees.
