Nathaniel H. Hitchcock's practice is devoted solely to defending persons accused of committing criminal offenses. As an associate attorney at WTB LAW, Attorney Hitchcock works closely with Attorney William Bly, who is recognized statewide as a skilled and fierce advocate in the courtroom. Attorney Hitchcock regularly attends seminars and training focused on effectively defending a wide variety of criminal case types. He is a graduate of Hillsdale College in Michigan, where he majored in Political Economy and minored in Spanish. Attorney Hitchcock is a cum laude graduate of the University of Maine School of Law and a former Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition competitor. During his time in law school, Attorney Hitchcock also completed a prestigious internship with the Maine Attorney General's Office, where he focused primarily on large-scale drug prosecutions. With experience on both sides of the criminal justice system, he has developed an impressive repertoire of oral and written advocacy skills and now brings those considerable talents to bear on behalf of clients accused of committing criminal offenses. Attorney Hitchcock is also committed to volunteerism and helping the community, in the past serving as Vice President of the Hillsdale Chapter of the Aliaga Foundation helping impoverished children in Latin America, serving as a Student Attorney for Prisoner Assistance at the Cumberland County Legal Aid Clinic, and today by volunteering as a member of the Board of Directors for the Sanford Mainers Baseball Organization. In his free time he also enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing trivia.
