Biography

Saskatoon Impaired Driving Lawyer. I have aided in the publication of several academic articles which have been featured in casebooks and course materials and taught as part of university courses in law, sociology, criminology and human justice. I have guest-lectured at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law and the University of Saskatchewan College of Commerce (now Edwards School of Business). I serve as an instructor and lecturer at the Saskatchewan CPLED Bar Admission Course in the area of criminal law and ethics. I also serve as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Saskatchewan College of Law teaching “Advanced Criminal Law & Practicum” to upper year Juris Doctor students at U of S. In addition to providing legal opinions and commentary to local and national news, I have testified before the Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs, pertaining to Bill C-75, An Act to amend the Criminal Code, the Youth Criminal Justice Act and other Acts. I have conducted trials in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and PEI. I have appeared over 65 times at the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal and have appeared as lead counsel for both Appellant and Respondent at the Supreme Court of Canada.
